Nestled in Giant Sequoia National Monument and central to numerous sequoia groves and recreational activities, the Sequoia Trails Cabin offers fun and relaxation for all ages

The cabin is warm and bright and nature can be observed outside of all of the windows. Entering with a keybad, the living room is painted to feel like you are inside of a sequoia grove, enjoying the quiet majesty of the enormous tree trunks. The reclining chair in the corner is set up for relaxation and reading and is joined by a comfortable leather sofa and love seat. A map painted on the wall in the hallway shows the major attractions of the area and how to get them and another map above the sofa shows how it would look in a fantasy novel. A Roku TV with Netflix and other streaming services is available for your enjoyment and a large sliding door leads out to the spacious patio.

The kitchen and dining area are open to the living room and are set up to be modern yet retain the feel of a rustic pine cabin. Appliances, dishes, and utensils are available and include a dishwasher, oven, stove, refrigerator, microwave, pots, pans, blender, and a toaster. The dining room table is large and can sit six guests comfortably.

The master bedroom is bright and combines a rustic cabin feel with a modern king-sized bed. from IKEA. Nightstands contain reading lamps supported by touch-lanterns to give your evening that mountain feel. Fans help circulate cool air from the central air conditioner in the summer and portable heaters add to the warmth of the central heater. The T.V. in the room includes a Roku device with a Netflix account and the usual streaming services you can login to on your own.

The second bedroom is very flexible depending on what you need it for. The original built in desk was restructured to match the warm, rustic pine trim found throughout the cabin and allows the room to function well as an office. The closet was converted into two child-sized bunk beds. There is a sofa bed in the room as well, as comfortable as we have ever seen one, that accommodates adults and teens that do not fit in the smaller bunk beds.

Both bathrooms are completely remodeled and modern. The river rock shower floors feel good on the feet after a long day of hiking the mountain trails or enjoying the yard.

More flexible space is available downstairs, where you'll find a second living room, two leather sofas, a game table with chairs and and entertainment center with another Roku TV, books and games for long evening fun. Another bedroom is located there with a very comfortable queen bed and ample closet space, On warm summer days, this is a great spot to get away from the heat. An additional heater is installed in the wall of the bedroom to warm up on those cool evenings.

The deck outside of the living room has a table for four with an umbrella and a patio swing that seats up to three. It is a great place to begin and end your day as you listen to the wind rushing through the trees and the sounds of the nearby river. There are many rocks and trees for kids to climb on, a flat lawn to play games on and several other spacious areas outside to enjoy nature in your own way. Next to the cabin there is a Sequoia Tree working on growing and reaching the sky.

A laundry room next to the kitchen offers ample space to store packs, hiking poles, fishing gear, boots and jackets and there is a washing machine and dryer for your use and convenience.

The cabin owners also own a lot next to the Tule River where you can enjoy private river access. Take Coy Flat Drive down to the river and across the bridge. On the other side, to the right is a dirt parking space. The area down stream from the bridge is ours and can be accessed and enjoyed by our guests.

Our Family has grown up in the South Sierra Mountains among the Giant Sequoias and have enjoyed all kinds of outdoor activities and challenges.

The Sequoia Trails Cabin is a dream come true for us and the result of a lot of hard work by all family members. We have paid close attention to every detail in creating this unique experience and our children gather every year from around the country to enjoy the stunning location and make happy family memories. We spend quality time together on the trails, under the towering sequoia trees, along the river, and playing games inside of the cabin itself.

We know that it will be just as special for you as it is for us.

REVIEWS

Best Airbnb experience ever. Benjamin is wonderful host and his cabin is so clean and neat. I definitely recommend this cabin for to take some time off and relax with your love ones.

-Jeff

We truly enjoyed our stay an Benjamin's cabin. Everything turned out better than even expected. The home was clean and tidy when we arrived. Extremely comfortable and well thought out. We loved the porch swing. Kitchen was nicely labeled so it was easy to find what we needed. The bathrooms were amazing. The well thought out guest book really enhanced our stay. With descriptions of hikes and nearby points of interest. That along with the extra amenities like coffee, tea and snacks made us feel right at home and that they really put a lot of thought into making the space special for their guests. We would love to stay again, possibly in the winter time!

-Evan

Wonderful cozy cabin, fast response from owner, it was snowing so it was absolutely beautiful and so much space on the property to play in the snow. Overall an amazing weekend here!

-Ezra

Our stay at Benjamin’s cabin was amazing! We were greeted by a family of deer which we continued to see the rough out our stay. The inside of the cabin was extremely clean and we had more room than we could’ve asked for. We definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a comfortable stay to explore nature

-Yoanca

Perfect getaway place for any time of the year.

-Gonzalo

Enjoyed staying in Benjamin’s home. Always a treat to stay in a nice home among the redwoods.

-Luz

A wonderful retreat up in the mountains in the cool air near Camp Nelson (don't let the Springville address fool you - the house is up in the mountains not in the valley!). It was a clean and well appointed place to stay while visiting the sequoias and Sierra Nevada. Plenty of room for all of us to have our own rooms with comfortable beds. As a bonus, you will have plenty of deer hanging out in the backyard!

-Mike

This was a perfect get away, great location, lots of fun hikes and beautiful Sequoia's to see. Cabin was clean, well stocked kitchen and lovely deck to have morning coffeee and dinner on. Host was easy to communicate with and offered great info for hiking.

-Pamela

Everything was absolutely perfect, so much so we booked an extra night within an hour of arriving. Benjamin was very kind, helpful, and quick to respond to any questions. The place itself was very clean and comfortable, but the best part was the location. Very quite area, perfect for a relaxing stay. The view from the balcony was great and there were deer on the property every day. Definitely would stay again. 10/10 experience!

-Jesse

House was as described. Very clean, roomy, great amenities. We loved listening to the birds and watching the deer on the deck every morning. They had a nice visitor’s guide with some of the local hiking spots and recommended restaurants. Owner replied to my questions quickly. Would definitely stay hear again!

-Christine

This accommodation was really good beyond expectations. It was in the middle of the Sequoia National Forest, so I had a great view, and it was very close to the road, so accessibility was great. I liked all the 3 large rooms, 5 beds, 2 spacious living rooms, the terrace and the large kitchen. There was also a laundry facility which was convenient. The dishes and utensils in the kitchen were all great. Most of all, I liked the host. Many of my questions were always answered quickly within 5 to 10 minutes, and they provided various conveniences. During my stay, the driving itself was very dangerous due to an unusual winter storm, but the host was very kind and actively helped me solve various difficulties. If I come to Sequoia National Park again, I will definitely stay there again. I will strongly recommend this accommodation to my friends and family.

-Myong Hwa

-Gutierrez

Beautifully renovated cabin at the foot of the Sequoia National Park. Spacious, clean and accessorized with everything we needed. We made good use of the kitchen making dinners and breakfast... we even did some baking of cookies and brownies. The dishwasher and washer and dryer were a huge bonus. Everyone had a good time.

-Tony

The property was beautiful. In the mountains off the road. easy access. Every morning I woke up to a family of deer grazing outback completely unfazed by me. It was extremely peaceful and quiet escape from the busy city life. Easy entry and exit of all the doors to the property with keypad entry. Would recommend for families or for solo travel like myself.

First....cabin is absolutely gorgeous! The cleaning lady absolutely outdoes herself. Beds smell so fresh! The communication was phenomenal! We went during the natural disaster month and they helped us through it, made sure we were safe and once there was a possible evacuation announced, they worked with us through that. I cannot say I have any complaints. If I go back to California I would stay again.

Very nice accommodation lost in the middle of the forest. The place is very pretty under the snow and despite the cold and the storm we were able to enjoy the presence of wild animals outside our windows. A real little dream! In addition, the hosts responded quickly when we did not have electricity!
